If people visit me regularly can they park in the residents parking place?
If someone visits you regularly and the council considers that it is not reasonable for them to find a parking space outside of the scheme they may be entitled to a visitors permit.  To obtain a permit your visitor should complete a visitor’s application form available by clicking on the relevant links in the "On this site" list to the right-hand side or from Parking Solutions.  A visitor will need a supporting statement from the resident whom they visit and will need to produce their vehicle registration document or Insurance document.  Visitors will be able to use a residents parking place if they are granted a permit and display it on their windscreen.

Full time students are NOT liable to pay Council Tax.

The council tax exemption certificate exempts all full-time students from having to pay council tax while studying.

Students eligible for a Council Tax letter will be provided with one by the University.

Students that live in rented accommodation should provide a copy of this letter to their landlords. The landlord should then complete the exemption form on your behalf.
